Abstract Submission Now Open for LIPIDC9!

We are excited to announce that abstract submission is now open for the 9th International Conference on Large Igneous Provinces and their Plumbing Systems (LIPIDC9), to be held in Nyeri, Kenya.

Researchers, students, and professionals from around the world are invited to submit abstracts on topics related to large igneous provinces, magmatic plumbing systems, volcanic processes, and related fields.

How to Submit Your Abstract

Step 1: Create a SciencesConf Account

Before submitting your abstract, you must first register for a free account on the SciencesConf platform. Click the arrow next to "Login" to create your account. You can then Login anytime after your account has been created

Step 2: Submit Your Abstract

Once registered and logged in, navigate to the "Abstract Submission" tab to submit your work.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts must be written in English
  • Maximum length: 250 words (excluding title and author details)
  • Include title, author name(s), affiliation(s), and corresponding author email
  • Select the most relevant session theme for your abstract
  • Only one presenting-author abstract per person may be submitted
  • Use standard scientific nomenclature and avoid excessive abbreviations
  • Figures and tables are not permitted in the abstract but you can add it on the next steps as supplementary material. 

All abstracts will undergo review by the scientific committee. Notification of acceptance will be sent by mid June.
